authObj.bio='Ruth Knafo Setton is a Moroccan-Jewish writer. She received her Ph.D. in English from Rice University and is Writer-in-Residence for the Berman Center for Jewish Studies at Lehigh University where she teaches courses in Jewish literature. She is the recipient of literary fellowships from the National Endowment of the Arts, Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and PEN, among others. Her novels include "The Road to Fez" and "Darktown Blues." She recently finished her third novel, "The Zigzag Girl."
